Pontiac Sauce

Each year, the Elder trees produce a rich harvest of Elderberries. I think that since we started scattering a handful into our recipe for Blackberry and Apple pie, usually eaten on 'Nutcrack Night' at the end of October, that more friends seem to visit the HoBB for Hallowe'en.
One recipe using Elder Berries eludes me for the moment and yes, I have done an internet search for it but so far – no joy! It is the recipe for 'Pontiac Sauce' which is made then allowed to mature for up to 7 years.
If you have such a recipe, I would love you to send me a copy please. In the meantime, all taste buds here are having fun sampling the trials.
